Liz Halsey

Osteopath Structural & Cranial / Medical Acupuncture

Liz qualified with a first class honours degree in Osteopathy at the British School of Osteopathy (London) in 2003.

In 2006 she began to use medical acupuncture and later undertook a BSc in Traditional Acupuncture at Manchester Metropolitan University, graduating with a first class honours degree in 2014. These qualifications mean that Liz is able to carry out a full osteopathic treatment (using structural and cranial techniques), a full acupuncture treatment (including electroacupuncture) or a mixture of both. Liz also works at the Neil Cliffe Centre, based at Wythenshawe Hospital and run by St Ann’s Hospice, where she provides acupuncture for people with life-limiting conditions.

Liz’s approach is to provide a high-quality treatment to ease pain and restore function. Alongside this, she helps her clients understand what is causing their complaint and what they themselves can do to manage or resolve the problem. Liz is registered with the General Osteopathic Council, the Institute of Osteopathy and the British Medical Acupuncture Society.

Kate Jackson

Eastern Acupuncture / Cupping / Medical Massage

Kate developed an interest in Acupuncture and Chinese medicine after discovering some upsetting news about a family member in 2012 and realising that there needs to be further ways for treatment other than standard conventional medicine. She studied at the Shulan College of Chinese Medicine and the Jade College of Oriental Medicine, covering many traditional subjects such as Acupuncture, Chinese medicine theory and diagnostics, cupping, moxibustion, Tuina medical massage, in addition to western medicine applied physiology and food therapy.

Kate believes strongly in the importance of maintaining good health, and integrating the natural methods of Acupuncture and Chinese medicine with western medicine to achieve the best results.
